The Daily Critique

"Matt from West Virginia" by Craig Tanner

Posted: January 28th, 2009 @ 12:01am

In today’s critique Craig looks at a beautiful landscape image. Today’s critique is more philosophical and Craig asks more questions than he attempts to answer. Craig talks about the potential competing interest in our pictures between aesthetics and intrinsic form vs. a conceptual message that we may be trying to covey or emotions we may want to evoke. Craig discusses about the importance of feedback and the role it plays in the evolution of our pictures and ourselves. Craig promotes the idea of embracing project work like books or shows.
