Whidbey Island Workshop
 Posted: March 2nd, 2009 @ 10:59am
We invite you to join us on beautiful Whidbey Island for a week of photographing an amazing smorgasbord of subjects including stunning landscapes, architecture, macro, night photography and street photography of people. We will make a day trip via ferry to the beautiful city of Port Townsend during this workshop. Craig has taught workshops on Whidbey Island for 7 seven years and is extremely familiar with all of the best shooting locations.
This workshop is based out of the wonderfully scenic town of Coupeville, Wa. on Whidbey Island. Breathtaking views of Penn Cove and The Cascade Mountain Range are just a short walk away from our hotel. The focus of this 5 and 1/2 day workshop is one on one instruction in the field followed by supportive review of the images created. Presentations will include but not be limited to composition, creating dynamic landscapes, shooting architecture at twilight and night photography, creative techniques for macro photography, approaching and photographing people on the street, shooting with the Lensbaby and a technique presentation which covers fundamental field techniques including exposure, depth of field, and stop and implied motion. We throw in some very helpful Adobe Photoshop techniques.
