In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful architectural detail photograph and discusses the following :
- the pattern, warmth, and softness of the quality of light
- seeing and working with tertiary colors and in particular the blue-green / red-orange tertiary color pair
- the way repetition helps to unify the image
- pushing the image in the direction of a square crop and centered main subject to tighten the image visually and to give it more of fine art feel
