The Daily Critique
"Yichao from Indiana" by Craig Tanner
 Posted: June 11th, 2009 @ 12:01am

In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful portrait and discusses the following:
- beauty lighting as a quality of light
- having your portrait subject look up into the light
- how true black and white points in the image can add to richness of color and the illusion of image depth
- body language and gesture
- “quick sketching” a series of shots of your portrait subject to preview different angles relative to the portrait subject
