In this week’s Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful portrait of a horse and discusses the following:
-working with unconventional cropping in portraiture to create more psychological impact with the features of the face and to simplify the design of the image
- quality of light and visual unity through repetition
- managing local contrast to emphasize texture
- looking at balance from corner to corner along the major diagonals
