The Daily Critique
"Flo from New Jersey" by Craig Tanner
 Posted: September 10th, 2009 @ 12:01am

In today’s Part 2 of a two part Daily Critique Craig looks at a provocative portrait and discusses the following:
- lens choice and subject distance relative to possible perspective distortions
- watching shoulders, especially when shooting close in portraits and being aware of distractions that are potentially created when only showing one shoulder
- some basic ideas about removing color casts when retouching portraits
- looking for ways to create layers of story in your own portrait work
