The Daily Critique
"Jose from Spain" by Craig Tanner
 Posted: September 15th, 2009 @ 12:01am

In today's Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful landscape image and discusses the following:
- using the wide angle lens to imply depth - working with powerful shapes and pattern as a foreground for a wide angle scenic
- how traditional landscape scenes and compositions can call on us to provide classic sense of closure and unity when it comes to image design
- and how having one area of powerful formal symmetry in an image can call on us to contunue with a feeling of formal symmetry in other aspects of the design of the image
- managing the flow of light in a sunrise or sunset scenic photograph
