In today's Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful nature photograph and discusses the following:
 
- using shallow depth of field to simplify and imply depth
 
- using complimentary color pairs to create the illusion of movement into and through the image
 
- quality of light
 
- the weight of contrast as a visual design element
 
- why centered subjects work well with square crops
 
- working with the adjustment layer of selective color
