In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful formal portrait and discusses the following:

- a one soft box lighting set up and quality of light

- placing the light to get light in the eyes and to get a strong catchlight

- flagging and feathering a light

- using layer adjustments and a soft focus filter effect to bring the portrait subject forward
