In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful still life photograph and discusses the following:

 

- simplicity as an element of design

 

- design elements that can create the illusion of three dimensions including, quality of light, perspective distortion, complimentary color, and shallow depth of field

 

- in post production using rescaling, image rotation, and a series of contrast, luminosity and color adjustments to create even more of a feeling of depth in the image.
