Photography Critique - Architecture - Fort Casey

"Patti from Washington" by Craig Tanner

Posted: August 4th, 2010 @ 12:01am

In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a strong architectural interior photograph and discusses the following:

- getting low with a wide angle lens to get closer to low subjects to create a foreground for wide angle scenics

- using leading line to move the eye of the viewer through the image

- underexposing in post to accentuate the flow of light in an image

- working with archetypal ideas

- color theory

- adding some detail to areas that are clipped to black
