Photo of the Week - Jekyll Island - Photo Tips and Inspiration

"Cam from California" by Craig Tanner

Posted: August 20th, 2010 @ 12:01am

In this week’s Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful landscape architecture photograph and discusses the following :

-  shooting and combining two images to extend DOF and dynamic range

- working with the archetypal design of the frame within the frame

- complimentary color

- using high contrast light in the background of the image to pull the eye all the way through the shot

- using implication of visual movement and repetition to create visual unity

- Canon 5D Mark II EFL 116mm  ISO 200 F13@ 1/100th
