In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at an environmental portrait and discusses the following:

- aperture and overall sharpness

- the use of chiaroscuro as a lighting pattern

- formal vs. dynamic balance

- editing in Adobe Photoshop CS4 to push towards formal balance in the image

- looking closely at implied energy and movement on the major diagonals

- Canon 5D Mark II 16-35mm zoom @ 16mm ISO 160 F2.8@ 1/125th EWA Marine Housing for camera
