In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful portrait of desert plants and discusses the following:

- shooting macro handheld

- the power of very long focal lengths to abstract and bring subjects together in one fram that are physically very far apart

- combining the ideas of visual harmony and visual tension to create photographs that are more compelling and more personal to the vision of the photographer
