In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a beautiful landscape photograph and discusses the following:
- beautiful leading line and implied shape
- repetition for visual unity
- using multiple design ideas, including, warm and cool color, to imply the 3rd dimension in the image
- using Adobe Photoshop to both increase the global contrast and remove a slight color cast
- choosing an aperture that gives the best combination of depth of field with overall lens sharpness
- Metadata – Canon 7D, EFL 20mm, ISO 100 F16
