Photo of the Week - Dunes Abstract - Death Valley National Park

Posted: December 10th, 2010 @ 12:01am

In this week’s Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig looks at a powerful partially abstracted landscape and discusses the following:

- the ways the image has been abstracted

- monochrome, shooting a part of the subject that emphasizes intrinsic qualities of the subject, and representing the shadow as a flat negative space shape

- defining and considering sequencing

- both natural and unnatural

- considering style

- Meta Data - Canon 5D Mark II – f2.8 70–200mm IS zoom lens @ 75mm
