Daily Critique

"Dennis" by Craig Tanner

Posted: November 28th, 2008 @ 12:01am

In today’s Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig discusses how working in monochrome can be a great way to get beautiful shots in qualities of light that might be too flat or to contrasty for general color scenic work. Craig also talks about creative use of the perspective distortions of a super wide angle lens. Craig also talks about how working with the visual design idea of rhythm, outside of the quality of light, may be the most powerful way to create photographs that are evocative and appear to the viewer to be inherently cohesive and beautiful.
