"Richard from Wisconsin" by Craig Tanner

Posted: January 25th, 2011 @ 12:01am

In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a strong cityscape photograph and discusses the following:

- leading line and formal balance or symmetry

- benefits of shooting cityscapes at or near the beginning and end of civil twilight

- adding value to the sky, contrast to the bridge, and color saturation to the lighting effect on the bridge in Adobe Photoshop CS5

- suggested vertical variation and many possible variations could be achieved by adding people into the scene

- Metadata –Nikon D300,  EFL 40mm, f11@ 10seconds
