In today’s Daily Critique Craig looks at a strong cityscape photograph and discusses the following:
- leading line and formal balance or symmetry
- benefits of shooting cityscapes at or near the beginning and end of civil twilight
- adding value to the sky, contrast to the bridge, and color saturation to the lighting effect on the bridge in Adobe Photoshop CS5
- suggested vertical variation and many possible variations could be achieved by adding people into the scene
- Metadata –Nikon D300, EFL 40mm, f11@ 10seconds
