Photography Critique - Palace Guard - Central London, Hertfordshire, U.K.

"Enzo from the U.K." by Craig Tanner

Posted: April 13th, 2011 @ 12:01am

In today's Daily Critique in the Digital Darkroom Craig looks at a strong composition of a palace guard and discusses the following:

- beautiful quality of side light

- symmetrical framing and formal balance

- working with Adobe Photoshop to add more detail to the architectural frame for the guard and making color changes to bring the main subject of the guard forward in the composition

- Metadata - Nikon D90, 18- 105mm zoom , ISO 200, f5.6@ 1/100th sec
