"Gail from Illinois" by Craig Tanner

Posted: April 15th, 2011 @ 12:01am

In this week's Photo of the Week on the Daily Critique Craig looks at a powerful portrait recently created on The Street Portraiture Workshop and discusses the following:

- classic focal lengths for head and shoulders portraits

- putting the sun behind the portrait subject

- getting light in the eyes

- beautiful harmonies of color

- receiving more of what life has to offer by turning off the filter of the mind (and limiting beliefs)

- Metadata - Pentax K-7, EFL 105mm, ISO 400, f4@ 1/250th
