"Simplifying A Scenic Landscape Image" by Craig Tanner

In this episode of the digital darkroom Craig discusses simplifying a scenic landscape image. First Craig uses the spot healing brush for digital gardening high contrast areas that are busy in the image. Craig shows two choices for the spot healing brush in the options bar, proximity match and create texture, that might help you to quickly get more mileage out of the spot healing brush when doing digital gardening. Craig also discusses a strategy for using the clone stamp as a healing brush. Finally, Craig delves into a couple of new options that are available within Curves in Adobe Photoshop CS4 and uses those new options to make final adjustments to the image.
