"Linda from Alaska" by Craig Tanner

Posted: December 9th, 2008 @ 12:01am

In today’s critique Craig discusses leading line, dynamic balance, and dynamic tone within a black and white file. Craig also talks about lens choice and framing. Craig discusses the use of curves and levels adjustment layers to create more local contrast and form in the area of the mountains and sky. Craig discusses strategies for building masks. Craig talks about contrast biasing masks and also talks about using very feathered brushes and building changes up at very low opacities to create seamless value and contrast PS effects.
