Daily Critique

"Ed from U.S." by Craig Tanner

Posted: December 10th, 2008 @ 12:01am

In today’s critique Craig looks at a panoramic image and discusses subject placement relative to the ratio of the framing device of the panorama. Craig also talks about timing relative to skies and working to achieve balance among all of the subjects within the panoramic frame. Craig talks about both print size and quality of light as ways to emphasize the main subject of a photograph. Craig also talks about rescaling as a way to balance the main subject of an architectural shot with the environment around the structure.
