Daily Critique

"Patricia from California" by Craig Tanner

Posted: December 15th, 2008 @ 12:01am

In today’s critique Craig talks about how including people in a scenic architectural exterior can help to anchor the image, bring the building to life, and create a powerful sense of scale for large structures. Craig also talks about placement of the people relative to positive and negative space shapes within the structure. Craig also discusses a technique for converting to black and white that combines the power of monochromatic channel conversions with the flexibility of the black and white adjustment layer.
