Daily Critique

"Charlie from Texas" by Craig Tanner

Posted: December 24th, 2008 @ 12:01am

In today’s critique Craig talks about the element of time and how important that motif is to the potential power of this image. Craig also talks about skewing to correct for parallax distortion. Craig discusses using hard light blending mode to create lighting effects or to accentuate existing lighting patterns within the image. Craig also shows how accentuating shadowed areas of the image can create a powerful illusion of dimensionality in your images.
