At The WhitneyApril 9, 2011 @ 7:58pm
Sidewalked
A vendor
Hawked his
Carvings.

Tabletop
She screamed
At crowds
Leaving.

She was then
For sale.
Carved art
Ignored.

Directly in front of the doors of the New York city’s Whitney museum, a street vendor’s table sat filled with carvings. Strangely, the seller was nowhere around, yet none from the jostling crowd seemed to want to steal his stuff.

Looks African to me! I love you you composited 3 images and made them look like it's one piece of sculpture. The green probably wasn't there, but I do like this introduction. It takes the carving back to its origins in some African jungle.

Awesome work of art Ted!

I love your opening dialogue to this image.

I did not even realize that the "composites" thread existed - what a perfect place to get new ideas.

Thanks for all of your posts here!

Kind Regards,
-bill
