| October 20, 2011 @ 11:37am | WOW! So you have an Xpan! Fantastic. I like this pano very much. The scene is moody, right before or after a storm. I loved being able to see details beyond the tall buildings.
After the camera finishes the pano, do you have to straighten buildings as you'd do with a single image shot with a wide-angle lens?

| October 20, 2011 @ 12:54pm | Hi Flo, The Xpan lens does not move, just exposes "double wide" on the 35mm film. This is great because you can snap action and have it stopped as in a normal photo rather than smears as with moving film/lens camera. The buildings in this photo are exactly as scanned from film, no perspective adjustment at all. The Xpan lenses are all rectilinear so as long as the camera is level, perspective is maintained.
