| Drinking again, Flo | November 6, 2008 @ 8:21am | Looks like you have been tipping the bottle again, Flo. I love the vivid colors you have selected to this experiment.

| November 6, 2008 @ 10:20am | You do "foolin' around" so well, Flo. I, too, love the vivid colors and the way you've used your subject.
If it had been Wes, the subject would have been a shot glass rather than your elegant flutes.

| November 6, 2008 @ 10:46am | These are very nice abstracts. They are so creative. Your "foolin' around" paid off this time. You are an inspiration. Thank you.
Janet

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W. |

| November 6, 2008 @ 3:46pm | Thanks so much, Wes, Marti and Janet. These flutes were left on a table at the Grounds for Sculpture last summer after one of their "do's" - and I likes the reflections and the concentric rings on the table surface. So I stretched 3 images and combined them.

Very very nice. I agree with Marti, you fool around so well.
This reminds me of the old James Bond movies. The beginning credits from the old 60s.
Great work, Tim |

| November 6, 2008 @ 5:23pm | Thanks, Tim - but I don't remember what the opening credits looked like on those old Bond movies.

| November 7, 2008 @ 6:09am | Hi, Mike - thanks so much. Yes, this is composed of 3 separate images taken of the same wine glasses. The images were practically monochromatic. I resized each to 1000x3000 pixels and composited them side by side on a white background. Then I used the paint bucket tool in CS3 to color them differently. Don't remember which blend mode I used.
I wanted to enhance certain areas and bring a little bit of the other two colors into each panel, so to do this, I used Capture NX, as it's so much easier - don't need any layers like the PS tools need.

| November 8, 2008 @ 12:55am | Hi Flo, Like Tim, these remind me of the opening credits of the early Bond movies too. I love the RGB going on. You do have an excellent way of seeing things and experimenting. Charlene
