| March 25, 2012 @ 7:07pm | Hi JMR…thank you for your comment. If you don't mind….I would LOVE for you to quibble about the small things. It will make me a better photographer.
Anyway, thank you so much for the support.

| March 26, 2012 @ 7:52am | Usha, these are great. What impresses me most, besides the lovely people, is the creaminess of each image - and I'm talking about the color ones as well as the creamy sepia ones.
So - what camera/lens/settings did you use? Obviously you had the aperture wide open. Perhaps the day was hazy, too, which may have helped. I'd love to be able to get these creamy results.

| March 26, 2012 @ 8:56pm | Hi Flo, Thank you for your comment. You have inadvertently given me the compliment that I have been striving for…I have always wanted the "creamy" look that you mentioned and I keep trying different things to see what works. So the fact that you mentioned that you see it made me very happy.
I actually used an ordinary lens (24-105mm). It is a walk around lens and not so sharp or fast. I shot most of the images at 5.6-8. I think two things worked in my behalf….1) it was an overcast day…so the light was overall very soft. and 2) I used the Creamtone preset as a starting point for the more creamier look images. Then I adjusted from there some. Nothing fancy….just all in Lightroom.
Hope this helps.

| March 27, 2012 @ 5:52am | Thanks, Usha. I don't have Lightroom, so will have to figure out how to do this in PS!

Me too! These are all wonderful Usha. I've noticed that your work has improved very much in the last year or so. Well done!
