Tests for Types of Color BlindnessJanuary 21, 2009 @ 11:01am
This is a very interesting and simple test page. Just look at the various circles and see if you can see a numeral or 2 in each of them. Answers for normal vision are below.

Then near the bottom of the page is a single circle in which there are 2 numerals. People with normal color vision see one of these numerals; those with red/green blindness see the other numeral.

Since I can see both - where does that leave me??? I see both numerals with each eye, so that's not the answer.

How about the rest of you?

Color blind?January 21, 2009 @ 11:15am
I know I'm not color blind because I made every light on green this morning Wink An old joke. Flo I think you are destined to be a B&W shooter? Smile I read all the numbers in the normal columns but I wonder if my ocular implants (after catarac surgery) make any difference when it comes to color? I know I can sure see better!

Gee, Murry, your joke does bring up something that used to be a problem for red/green color blind people - traffic lights - until the position of the red and green was standardized.

My husband also had that surgery and he said he hadn't realized what he'd been missing in the way of clarity and bright colors.
