Great capture. Now don't tell me a Nikon did this? It just has a different "feel" to it, but I can't quite put my finger on what makes me ask that question?

Also, I agree with Micheline - you have branched out and have succeeded in crossing the fields with excellence!

WOW, thanks to all of you for commenting. Micheline, maybe I just haven't found a style for my photography yet, so am trying to figure out if I have one. Nice hearing from you again.

Flo, this was taken with the Nikon while waiting for friends to join me for dinner. This place has one of the oldest bars in Savannah and is also on the Ghost tour circuit. They use to have boxing in the basement and, apparently, ne of the boxers was killed. I have never felt or seen any ghosts here yet.

Thank you so much for commenting, Usha. I do enjoy going here because great times have been had in this small place.

Wes, I'd never have guessed that this was taken by a Nikon - or Canon - or any other large DSLR!!! There's something so "real" about this that I feel that I can reach into the image and pluck that great big sign out of there!

And this makes me wonder why? Is it due to the vignetting or due to the nice gradation of shadow on the sign itself? I just don't have a clue, so maybe you can help me. Did you do anything special in pp?

BTW, what lens did you use?

Thank you Marc. We had a good time here, remember?

Flor, I did a curves adjustment to increase some contrast. added a little brighteness and added the vignette to help cut down on the brightness of the sky. I have so much fun here that I wanted to express that feeling in the image (one of enjoyment and joviality). I was just messing around while waiting for Craig and Jill to join me for dinner and looked up. There wasn't much else of interest to capture. I was using the Nikon 50mm, f1.4.
