Our little corner parket is a stop off point for migrating geese each year. This year I noticed a number of little ones. Mom let me get pretty close before her hissing warned me off.

I like your framing choice, which leaves Mother Goose (sorry, couldn't resist) with only her head and neck showing, leaving the chicks to be the major concern for both goose and viewer. If I were to make any change, I would try to increase the light on mom's face to make her eye more visible.

Good suggestio Rick. Thanks for commenting. There is no Adobe raw support yet for this new camera. This is a jpg ooc (with a slight crop). I really want to get back to my work flow.
Meanwhile it is a little snapshot of something seen in the park when I was walking by.

Oh how cute - sorry about the cliché.

Michael, CS3 on up will accept jpegs, so you can work on your images as jpegs in PS.

As an addition to Flo's remark, Michael, you can bring JPG images into camera raw from bridge if that is what you need to do. Rick's suggestion about lightening the eye are of the mother's head might be difficult but well worth a try in PS.If you don't mind, I did lighten the eye. What do you think.

Wes, I do like her eye to be visible.
