I like that there's no sense, really, of scale. This could be a miniature that you got down on hands and knees to shoot it from below - or it could be a large statue elevated so high that the only way you could shoot it is from below.

To give some scale here is another view.


I liked the clouds and lack of scale for the first one.

Oh, but I like the message -- as I perceive it -- in the second! There, the focus is on man in nature. Crop to eliminate the pedestal and ground...?

Yes, I agree with April! To be walking under those trees and suddenly see the Hand of God - really Man - hovering above the trees would give quite an impact to the unsuspecting visitor!

And so you have two powerful images!
