Food photography is harder than I thought it'd be, lol! This is my best - so far. Probably because I was standing right over the bowl.

Every time I look at the larger version, it makes me want to experience another bowlful, lol.

Flo, I have tried some food photography. It is difficult. Good image of your soup when it makes you want some more.

I love props that I can eat Tongue I like your top POV and the colors of the soup are gorgeous Flo! I've shot a few restaraunt food shots as well as at home and I always feel rushed while eating out. I find that some table tops, table clothes, etc. can make great graphic backgrounds when shooting high like you did here.

Your timing for posting is just right, Flo. It does look so delicious and right a noon. Now what am I going to fix that will match your bowl of soup. Decisions, decisions.

Yum! Yum! Delicious shot. Delicious food.

Janet

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W.

Comfort Food, thanks for sharing, I needed it to offset the 10 degree F weather outside.

Thanks, Wes and Peter.

This was the best chicken-rice soup I've ever tasted. What made it special (I thought at the time) is the addition of fresh dill and those little mushrooms and perhaps more onions than usually called for. And to think I almost didn't order it!

This was being served by the cafe at the Grounds for Sculpture one day. I think they must have started with Campbell's chicken-rice soup that comes in huge containers for restaurants to use, and then added the extras above.

The reason I say this is because about an hour after I ate it, all my muscles and joints started hurting! Which means that there was MSG in it. A LOT of MSG. I had to go home, I felt so awful.

This was in 2007, before Campbell's started taking out the MSG which they'd been adding to all their soups.

So, bottom line, although this was the best chicken-rice soup I ever tasted, it was the worst soup I've ever eaten!
