Gorgeous leaf hopper! Again I'm amazed that you got so close, These can be very skittish. Or did you luck out with your 180mm macro, which gives you more distance between you and said critter?

I did use my 180 mm macro, Flo. This was the first thing I saw when I stepped into the garden and I must have spent several minutes working on this one. I guess it wasn't quite awake yet. I even had enough time to talk to several people as they walked by. They couldn't see what I was looking at. When I pointed it out they were amazed at just small it was.

One of the pleasures is showing people the interesting things that they've been overlooking.
