| June 28, 2012 @ 2:06pm | Glad you had a chance to get out for this image. Love the backlight and how it separates the buck from its background and really shows us that he's in his velvet stage of antler growth.
The exposure is right on, too, with detail in its face, yet the background isn't blown out.

When I first spotted this fellow I was up hill shooting at his backside. I worked my way around a small copse of woods to a frontal position and was really excited by the back lighted opportunity
