The closest thing I could find resembling a Chinese dragon for New Year.
A friend brought this carnival mask back from the Dominican Republic. He picked this up while on vacation. Soon the little town of La Vega will be bursting with visitors from all over the world for carnival. They will see many of these incredible masks every Sunday in February.

The last one not with the lensbaby but to show what the thing looks like with a normal lens.

Happy Chinese New Year by the way - (any excuse for a celebration is fine by me)

I like these. Especially the first one.

Which ring were you using?

Thanks,

Very nice, Michael. The vibrant colors represent what I feel a carnival should be.

Ring? lol I have been using it wide open. It is harder to focus but I like the effect.

I like the first one especially. That is one scary mask.

I vote for the 1st one, also. That IS one scary costume. Thanks for including the normal lens photo.

Yup, an excuse for a celebration! Cheesy
