Introduction to Lightroon (Lesson 1, Part 2) - February 19, 2009February 19, 2009 @ 1:05am
Continuing with the Introduction to Lightroom series, in Lesson 1, Part 2 Marti Jeffers takes the viewer through the process of importing images that already exist in a folder on the hard drive into the Lightroom catalog and the ways the images can be viewed in the Lightroom interface. She discusses applying keywords to the images and setting up a metadata preset that can be used again for images that are imported into Lightroom.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your interest in Marti's Lightroom tutorial. For only the second time since we went live we ended up with a corrupted file that can't be converted to work for our streaming player so the video has to be recorded again. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will get the second Lightroom Tutorial up as soon as possible.....Craig

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your interest in the introduction to Lightroom tutorials. Craig and I returned to Atlanta tonight on a late flight from the Death Valley workshop. I'm going to need to re-record Part Two of this tutorial and will get it done in the next day or two.

Stay tuned!!

Marti,
I hope you had a good trip, I wish I had been there...

I am slowly stumbling through LR, it is almost as complex as PS. When do I take the pix, before or after PS & LR university!!! Undecided

Looking forward to the next chapter. Keep well and happy shooting. kk

What a great little teacher you are, Marti. I might even open up Lightroom 2 and check it out. Just keep up the good work on the tutorials hope that there will be no more glitches.

Hope all is well with you,
Wes
