When the train pulled in this man bolted over from the nearby park so his little girl could watch the train pull away.

I converted to black and white and also added an overlay of film grain. So as Flo says "C&C welcome"

Thanks,
Randi

Very effective in B&W. It puts attention on the two main subjects - the people and the train. Old Orchard Station - nice name.

I like to watch trains come and go, too, Randi. Looks like the little girl is watching this train very intently. Because I looked at the picture before I saw your story, I had assumed that Mommy was going to her job and Dad and daughter were taking things at home.

Hi Flo & Wes,
Thank you for your comments. This site is the first time I've ever posted photos for people to look at. It was a bit unnerving at first but I'm hoping to be able to grow by taking in other people's thoughts and suggestions. Most of all I love to see what everyone else posts for images. You're all very inspiring!

Thanks so much,
Randi

What a nice daddy and a nice moment.
