| Unfurled | March 20, 2009 @ 12:58am | Though spring is here, some of the most interesting material is last year's bounty.

| March 20, 2009 @ 8:58am | I like the lighting on these, the way you've managed a dark background while highlighting the subjects. The second one, the corkscrew, also seems to be backlit to good effect. On that one, I'm torn between wanting to clone out the out-of-focus object stuff in the lower left or leaving it in as a mysterious puzzle. The third one seems to need a stream of spiderweb bubbles trailing away from the loops--they look like they've just been dunked in bubble soap at a child's party. Well seen!

| March 20, 2009 @ 9:03am | All three are beautiful, Catherine. With the 2nd one, if you crop down from the top to a bit above the spiral's tip, then the out of focus one in the background takes on more importance and plays well with the one that's the subject.
Rick, I love your comment about the third one and children's bubbles.

| March 20, 2009 @ 9:35am | I do so agree with you, Catherine. It is a lot of fun to see the left overs from the winter months. You have found some great shots here. My favorite is the first one because of the colors I think. But, I really like them all.
