This had it's first bloom on December 25th here on Maui and it hasn't stopped pushing flowers out since.

Imagine that--a Christmas cactus that can grow outdoors in the garden! They are strictly an indoor plant for me. I like the balance of exposure across this flower, where the red pistil is brightly illuminated while the white petals (which I tend to blow out in exposure) are kept in control. And an ant finds its moment of photographic fame.
