This forced tulip died a couple weeks ago but we never threw it out. Some around me thought I was nuts shooting this dead old thing thing but up close it looks beautiful to me (and it was too cold to go outside shooting)

www.Mikesjournal.com a new picture every day (more or less)

Beautiful, indeed! Flip this upside down and it might remind people of The Wave - the rock formations in the southwest by that name.

I don't think you are nuts at all. This is beautiful. If you hadn't said it was dead, I don't think anyone would have known.

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W.

Firstly, how can you have dry tulips when you are still haveing winter up there, Michael. Now I see that it was inside. This is a beautiful shot (if only I can look this good when I am all dried up)Smile

This reminds me of the rock formations that have been taken in the southwest. Lovely shapes, depth and colors.

Michael, this is actually lovely. A nice "rebirth" so to speak for the dead tulip.
