These little "hoop skirts" are so cute. Wes, did you put a texture filter on the upper right flower's center, or maybe the texture I see is due to jpeg artifacting when the size was reduced.

Thanks, Flo. I hadn't seen these before and my picture doesn't do justice, I don't think. I didn't add any texture but I did do a slight burn just to give a variation. You have such great eyes for that kind of thing. Sure can't pull anything over on you.

I do like your composition of three blooms. I also see what looks like sharpening noise in some of the shadow areas and even in the blooms.


Live life so that you notice all the wonderful things that take your breath away.

Please ask first before editing my images.

Scott, the noise that you see is the result of slightly overdoing the Topaz adjust plug-in, I'm afraid. I was trying to boost the detail and went a little too far. Actually I did run a denoise filter on this, too.
