| April 20, 2009 @ 2:20am | I love the lighting on this, Wes. It looks as if you took a walk through a dark forest until you came across a ray of sunshine leading you to this gem. Wonderful!

| April 20, 2009 @ 9:05am | Thank you Flo and Jackie.
You are right, Jackie, I was walking through a forest when I came upon this dogwood but I managed to get a completely different background on one I took later.

| April 20, 2009 @ 9:07am | It has taken me a while to like this picture; but the more I view it, the more it grows on me. I just had an epiphany though. You "Draganized" this. I've never thought of doing a flower with this method. It works. Good job.

Go ahead and play with the images. I would ask that when you post them on other sites (such as Flikr, Photobucket, etc.) that you credit my photography. I would do the same for you! Other than that, I'm E Z T D B W. |

| April 20, 2009 @ 3:14pm | The work of Andrzej Dragan is very famous. He has perfected a sort of dark, gothic look that works very well on portraits with character. His work is copied and emulated all over the photography world. The picture I did of Chester Plumlee for the Assignment 6 was "Draganized" to an extent.

Janet, thanks for your commentary on the Draganize effect. I didn't realized what I was doing to get the flower this way. When I took this picture, I was particularly aware of the darker background which is really mulch. I used a PS plugin that I recently acquired called Topaz Adjust which allows one to increase just some of the details of an image. It does more than that, but that part is what I used. The wind was fairly brisk when I took the shot so needed some help. I just liked the result so left it so posted it.
