My 1st TME B&W ImageJuly 2, 2009 @ 11:57am
A TME newcomer - still working my way through the TME Share Your Work categories as a means of introducing myself. Here's my 1st B&W submission (actually infrared done in-camera with an IR converted Nikon D70).

Ed, I LOVE IR images! Your converted D70 is much lighter in weight than my Fuji S3 Pro UV/IR body which is based on a Nikon D200. This Fuji was made specifically for law enforcement. I must use a visible light pass filter if I want to take visible light images.

I love the way your image has a light-to-dark diagonal. Please tell us where this lovely scene is?

Flo,
It's in the community ("active adult") where I live - Heritage Hunt in Gainesville, VA.

If you like IR, I did two others the same morning as my original post.

Lovely images, Ed. They make me want to be there. The treatment make this place very inviting.
