Overall it's a very serene image for me until I see the texture on top of the front dune but the smooth surface of its slope reminding me of the winds causing constant shifting. Then I think of walking into this shot and I'm instantly exhausted. Whew, what a workout you've given me! |

| July 25, 2009 @ 10:03pm | I can only imagine trying to scale up the side of this dune. Goodness, I have trouble with small dunes. However, it would be a good slide down from the top!! I enjoy the various textures in this image.

Have you considered this image for the assignment of looking down?

| July 26, 2009 @ 1:32pm | Thanks to everyone for your comments. Fortunately, not a lot of climbing was necessary to get this perspective since we were traveling in a very comfortable dune buggy. Unfortunately, this shot doesn't qualify for the assignment, Flo, because I took it in June.
