Ohhh, I think you have another beauty here Wes. I like the colours and the repeating patterns that I see.

My gosh, Wes - you never cease to amaze me with the macro effects you come up with! This is spooky - the prickles show up almost as sharply as they can be, yet the rest of the flower head is blurred. You must have done some serious pp on this one. What skill!

I can't let you believe that I am at smart with this stuff, Flo, but glad you did. This was a very simple Gaussian blur on the whole image and then a mask to just show the sharper edges of the sepals of this dying sunflower. That's it. Hope you still like me!!!!!

This green and gold are just lovely together (however you did it with the "gaussian" thing?). They remind me of orchestra musicians.

Hmmm, orchestra or singles in a hot tub? Love this one, Wes!

Thanks, Rick. This light was decent in this one but I do fight with getting a shot where the lot is interesting. Being outside, I don't mess around with it a lot, but I should.

Wes, I live in Marin County, infamous for hot tubs and peacock feathers about 20 years ago, so I'm just predisposed to see them whenever!

LOL Jackie. I guess you are in hottub country for sure, aren't you. Now I understand how you came up with that.
