We were having a birthday party last evening and I spotted this poor butterfly grasping onto the screen door. It apparently wanted to join the party so it left the flowers behind and came to where the fun was going on.

How unusual for a butterfly to try to crash a party! Wes, your prayers have been answered about getting one of these critters to hold still long enough for you to make its portrait.

Hi Wes,
What a wonderful surprise. I like the blue and yellow on the wings. I especially like the screen as a background.

LOL, Charlene, I hadn't thought of "Social Butterfly". I should have let it in. Missed out on that guest. Who knows what he/she could have added to the riotous fun.
