| August 11, 2009 @ 8:41am | Wow, he doesn't look like he's raised a sweat! But he is working hard. Nice capture.
Suggestion: I'd like to see this cropped down from the top to lose most of those girders and that bright light at the left which runs off the edge. Then you'd have just a few dark girders plus the lighter trim under them. I think this would finish off the upper left corner better.
What do those numbers mean?

| hey | August 11, 2009 @ 9:21am | The numbers mean this the 90 is the for the 90kg that he was snatching and the 0.12 is for the time he has to complete the lift. To complete a lift you have to have the bar above your knees. thanks for the suggestions Flo

| August 11, 2009 @ 7:34pm | I think it looks like a bad case of patellar tendinitis waiting to happen. Oh, you meant about the picture itself? I think it's good at capturing the whole atmosphere of the moment. I think there's another picture waiting to be made, of a tight crop on the lifter only, trying to emphasize the concentration on his face. For that, I'd even clone out the spotter in the background.
BTW, thanks for posting something to our moribund sports category!
