| August 14, 2009 @ 5:30pm | Oh, my gosh, thank you all for the well wishes. I wish I could say that growing older is a breeze but it would be a lie. I am just happy to be up and kicking.
Flo, I hate to say this number, but it is a huge 81. Eight decades plus one. I wish we could celebrate together, too, Flo, but, you know, an old man has to be careful of too much partying.
Thank you for the invite, April. It would be great fun for me to meet and maybe shoot with a wonderful, creative photographer such as you. I might even learn something. I will be dining with friends this evening so that will be nice. Giving is so easy with this group.
Bob, it was only yesterday. I am definitely going for the humungous size toilet paper these days. I sure don't want to see the end too soon.

| August 15, 2009 @ 8:07am | Thank you lots, Bill and Janet. It was a good day and now I have to get back to working on staying alive for another year. I only take one year at a time Maybe it would be better to take any amount of time (at a time) at this age.
I always start off by saying yes, yes, yes, Janet but end up saying ugh, ugh, ugh.
